French Away Kit x Nike

14 Mar

Saw this on SxH this afternoon… Seems last Monday, France announced its kit for the National Football team. The design was inspired by the “marinière,” features lightweight Nike Dri-FIT technology & ventilation systems, and embraces Nike’s Consideration Design–making it the most “environmentally suitable kit to date.” Although I root for Landon Donovan, Michael Bradly, Jozy Altidore and the rest of the karate kids back here in the States, the French National team has always had a spot in my heart (remember Brazil in ’98?). As such, I have seen the French jersey evolve over the years and can positively say: this is BEST to date.

Fittingly, the new away cut was first worn by Alou Diarra–one of France’s most powerful and electrifying new leaders–and photographed by the legendary Karl Lagerfeld. Feel free to comment below.
